Overview.
Multi-head weigh fillers, often referred to as combination scales, are ideal for applications requiring exceptional accuracy and high throughput. These fillers come in configurations of 10, 14, 16, and 24 heads, each with its own load cell to ensure precise measurements.
The process starts with loading bulk product into the center of the scale. From there, the product is distributed to individual vibratory feeder pans via vibration. These pans then transport the product to the weigh buckets for precise weighing.
After weighing, the PC Software identifies the buckets with the closest match to the target weight, locks them, and dispenses the product simultaneously to an automatic packaging machine or for manual packaging. This method, known as multi-head or combination weighing, uses multiple buckets or a combination of them to achieve the desired weight.
